The Review Wants to Hear from You
The deadline for the Review’s active public engagement was 12th June 2023, but we welcome information at any time. If you have information to give the Review please contact rachael.geddes@covidreview.im
The Review would like to hear from a wide range of people about their experience of the Government’s handling of the Covid pandemic.
This will help the Chair to understand any problems, highlight successes and make recommendations for improvements. The more ideas the Review hears and the more people we hear from, the better our work will be.
Please click on the image below to view a message from the Chair about the different ways in which the public can contribute to the Review Team’s work.
The video link above will open in YouTube, in a new page.
The Review does not endorse any third-party content on that site.
Invitation to Those Who Have Been Bereaved by Covid
In the Isle of Man many lives were lost as a result of the Covid pandemic and many other lives changed forever because of the untimely death of someone close. The Chair and members of the Review Team are acutely conscious of the loss and suffering which took place during the pandemic.
If you suffered a bereavement, the Chair of the Review, Kate Brunner KC, would like to make sure that you can speak to a member of the Review Team privately if you wish to do so, to share your experience. To do this, please email Rachael Geddes at rachael.geddes@covidreview.im, before 1st June 2023, with your name and contact details, letting her know the part of the Island in which you would prefer to meet.
During these meetings we would like to listen to your views. We will focus on learning from your experiences and listening to your suggestions on what could be done better in the future. Your responses will be treated as confidential and all contributions will be respected.
Help is available if you need it. Sharing your experience may trigger some difficult feelings and emotions. If you need help please access one of these organisations’ websites:

Focus Groups

If you consider yourself to be in a category of people who were particularly affected and would like to be part of a focus group, then please let us know through a written submission. If you are able to gather together a group of people, then one person can contact us on behalf of the group. Otherwise, you can contact us as an individual and indicate that you would like to be part of a focus group.
